Stylish VTG Native American Indian Sterling Silver 33 Hand Punched Concho Belt. Presented is a wonderful old pawn Native American Indian sterling silver concho belt. This piece dates to around the 1920s-1960s, it's difficult to say more narrowly due to how the timelessness of the style.
The belt consists of 13 oval conchos in the same punchwork design, with crescents, stylized feathers, and scalloped edges, all joined together with hand soldered rings in a ropetwist design. Each of the conchos measure about 3 by 1 3/8 inches. The belt closes with a simple foldover hook that hooks into a triangular loop at the opposite end.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, and no repairs. This piece is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be sterling purity silver.The belt measures about 33 inches long.
