Huge Vintage Navajo Green Turquoise Necklace Silver Medallion American Indian

  

I have a Navajo Native American polished turquoise necklace with a huge silver oval medallion at the center. The medallion has an elaborate bird or duck and goat design and is studded with four small pieces of turquoise and a small red stone, possibly coral. The back of the medallion is elaborate with a bird or duck and goat design.

The necklace can be worn two ways with the silver and turquoise medallion showing, or with the carved silver medallion showing. The necklace is 18" long with a 4.7". It weighs approximately 345 grams. There is a toggle and ring clasp. The necklace is very heavy and appears to be well made.

It is in very good condition condition for a vintage piece of this age. I shop all over the world in the leading luxury retail stores.
